Vision
The Superfund for Jewish Education and Continuity envisions affordable, high-quality, spiritually and meaningful, universal Jewish day school education for all Jewish children in North America who seek it, irrespective of their stream of religious affiliation or family financial resources.

Mission
To make accessible affordable, high-quality, spiritually and meaningful, universal Jewish day school education for all Jewish children in North America who seek it, irrespective of their stream of religious affiliation or family financial resources.

To strengthen the current Jewish school system so that children, families, and educators operate from a platform of dignity, serenity, and joyful productivity.

Through intensive Jewish education, to create a vibrant, self-generative Jewish future that is grounded in individual self-esteem, respect for humanity, tolerance for individual differences, love for other Jews, a shared destiny with Israel, and profound appreciation for our glorious history and culture.

To raise awareness for the short and long term benefits of a Jewish day school system.

To ensure that priority is given to funding Jewish day schools throughout the Diaspora community.

To act as an independent advocate for importance of funding Jewish day schools.

Goals
To create new and strengthen existing funding sources to day school education, to benefit our children, our communities, and our future.

To establish a vehicle where massive amounts of money are provided to the Jewish day schools, so that
  • Crippling tuition bills can be lowered
  • Day school education is accessible to greater numbers of families who can not even consider it now because of the devastatingly high costs
  • Schools can attract the best and the brightest by paying respectable wages.
To build awareness in the Jewish world of the urgency and value in stabilizing and increasing the funding base for Jewish day school education.

To mobilize the Jewish community to face the danger of being passive and minimize the risk of losing our children.

Values
The Superfund seeks to ensure a vibrant, joyful, and sustainable Jewish future through enabling intensive Jewish schooling for all children.

We believe that intensive Jewish schooling in the day school setting is a solid and sure path to a strong, viable, diverse, and dynamic Jewish community both now and in the future.

We believe that Jewish day school education should be affordable to all Jewish children, regardless of denomination, affiliation, or current level of involvement.

We believe that knowing who we are, as Jews, is the best way to compete, be confident, and contribute in our increasingly multi-cultural, international economy and society. Affordable day school education for all children gives our children an essential competitive advantage for life.

We believe that an affordable Jewish day school education strengthens the Jewish family. Children in affordable Jewish day schools are a growth impetus for strengthened Jewish identity and learning for the entire family, which creates, in turn, stronger parents, stronger families, and a stronger society.

We believe that our children and we have a responsibility and a privilege to contribute to and carry forward 5000 years of a dynamic culture, literature, and society. We believe that an intensive, affordable Jewish day school education gives our children the tools and perspective to contribute to our evolving culture on personal and communal levels.

We believe that being Jewish is a gift. We want our children to take pride in our heritage and responsibility for our future.

We believe that affordable Jewish day school education for all children should be at the top of our Jewish communal priorities.

We believe that affordable Jewish education for all children is achievable. When the entire community pulls together, the significance of the money raised can make a real and lasting impact. We must all pull together to ensure a vibrant Jewish future.
