How the Superfund is Different
While many organizations contribute to Jewish education, founders of the Superfund feel that differences in mission, focus and scope mandate a separate, independent organization.

Which Schools?
As stated previously, the Superfund includes the broadest range of schools as beneficiaries, including both high schools and elementary programs, and irrespective of religious orientation. Currently, the Superfund supports schools within the ATT system, as well as Solomon Schechter, other Conservative schools (Chicagoland Jewish High School), and an independent, community-based school, the Chicago Jewish Day School (Lakeview).

Singularity of Purpose – Exclusive Focus on the Schools
The urgency of alleviating current pressures on schools and families, as well as the scope of impact on future Jewish continuity mandates a separate, independent initiative, dedicated solely to advocacy for the importance of and fundraising for Jewish day schools.

National Platform
The Superfund for Jewish Education and Continuity is designed to be a national program, with local branch offices established in each community. As such, all documents, articles of incorporation, and how-to handbook are encapsulated to roll out community by community. The Superfund envisions a national movement to support Jewish day schools.
